The bus has been open for almost one month now, and to date, we have supported 16 homeless people, both male and female. The feedback from them has been positive including the feeling of being warm and safe and being able to rest without threat. They especially enjoyed the new pyjamas and slippers after a warm shower. They said they were made to feel “special”.
We anticipate we will be busier over the coming weeks as the colder weather hits again.
Once again thank you to Siobhan for your time and hard work as bus project manager, and all those that volunteered their time to complete it.
