Set against the backdrop of post-Katrina New Orleans, the narrative explores the public’s reaction, the art world’s intrigue, and the lasting impact of these politically charged and socially conscious artworks on the city and its residents. “NOLA Rain” uncovers the story behind each of the 17 pieces, examining their context, symbolism, and the unique way they resonated with a city still grappling with recovery and remembrance.

Banksy Hates Me
Jesse Zuefle | Printed on 300 gsm, 100% Cotton paper | 64 x 50 cm (W x H)
Banksy Hates Me (BHM) is the moniker of an anonymous, US-based contemporary street artist whose practice is rooted in the twin pillars of parody and subversion. Emerging from the social and cultural wreckage of the 2020 pandemic, BHM’s work serves as a calculated disruption of the status quo.
Operating as an “Anti-Brand,” the pseudonym is a direct commentary on the commercialization and “gatekeeping” of modern street art. By playfully suggesting that the world’s most famous street artist “hates” them, BHM exposes the irony of a once-underground movement that has since embraced hierarchy and celebrity.

Broken Soul
SC Street Art (USA) | Multi layered hand cut stencil piece on 300gsm artist paper
Broken Soul is a look into the loneliness and isolation that heartbreak brings.
SC Street Art has moved between countries and cultures since childhood, from the US and Germany to Saudi Arabia and the UK. It was in Berlin that SC discovered street art, becoming a particular fan of Noir. A first tag followed in Paris in the late 1990s, beginning a creative journey shaped by different names, identities and places.
After stepping away from street art to focus on watercolours and illustration, SC was eventually drawn back by a love for the energy and power of mixed media. A loner and nomad by nature, a long hiatus saw SC get lost in Colombia and end up in Morocco.
Now moving between Kent and Los Angeles, SC is back in the mix — continually searching for inspiration and the next spark to feed the creative flow.

It’s okay to cry, just don’t quit
THREEHOURSAGO – Kyle Thompson | Framed Print | 75 x 105 cm (W x H)
“It’s okay to cry, just don’t quit” – Winning doesn’t come from being the best or doing everything perfectly, it comes from failure.
Knowing what failure feels like is what teaches you how to win.
If I can leave you with any advice, it’s this:
when the days become unbearably hard and you feel like walking away, ask God for the strength to keep going.
Take an honest look at your mistakes, learn from them, and come back even harder than before.
Because now you know what losing feels like.
Why not stick around long enough to find out what winning feels like too?
